Sheep are animals that have many connotations depending on the culture. For western Christianity, the sheep is often used in religious art to signify the leader bringing people back. In other cultures the sheep simply connote rustic culture, simplicity, and purity. Sheep, who serve a functional purpose of helping provide wool to keep us warm, are often favorites of kids and farmers alike.
